Napa Driving Service was started in 2016 by Dennis McClintick, after watching too many visitors arrive in wine country excited and leave with a story they didn't want. The idea was simple and it still is: you already have a car you like, so let someone local do the driving.

Today the business is run by Derek McClintick. Dennis is no longer involved in day-to-day operations, but the standard he set is the one we still work to — show up on time, drive carefully, be good company, and never make a wine country day feel like a corporate transaction.

We are a small group of insured drivers who live here. No chauffeur costume, no fuel surcharges, no upsells. You send us your plan through the quote form, we confirm your date and rate, and on the day your driver meets you where you're staying and takes it from there.
