Is a driver-drives-your-car service legal?

Yes — and it's popular because of the savings. It's a well-established model in wine country and the reason our rates are about half of what a limo or tour van charges.

What about insurance?

We carry a commercial policy specifically written to cover our drivers operating guest-provided vehicles. Our policy is first in line for any claim — you're not relying on your personal auto insurance.

Can your driver just follow our itinerary?

Absolutely — about half our guests do exactly that. Send us the plan and we'll drive it. We'll offer tips only if you ask.

Can you plan the whole day for us?

Yes. That's what our Personalized Tours are for — Historical, Backroads, Blended, or a fully custom "I Do What I Want" day. Pick one and Dennis's team handles the reservations, timing, and the lunch stop.

What about a limo?

What's cool is saving money. Wine tasting is Wine Country Casual. Your own car is more comfortable, half the price, and doesn't scream "tourist" when you pull up.

Is a takeout-lunch stop included?

Yes — every tour includes a free takeout-lunch stop. You relax at a winery while we pick up food from a favorite spot along the route.

What's your cancellation policy?

72 hours' notice, no questions asked. Inside 72 hours we'll do everything we can to reschedule you rather than charge — just call and talk to us.

How do I pay? Is there really a cash discount?

Our $50/hr Driver-Only rate is a cash rate. We also accept major cards; the card rate is slightly higher to cover processing. Personalized tour rates apply either way.

What areas do you serve?

All of Napa Valley (Napa, Yountville, Oakville, Rutherford, St. Helena, Calistoga) and Sonoma (Sonoma, Glen Ellen, Kenwood, Santa Rosa, Healdsburg). Pickup from hotels, B&Bs, and vacation rentals throughout both valleys.

What are your hours?

Open 7 days a week, 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Early airport pickups and late dinners at The French Laundry both fit inside that window.

How big a group can you handle?

Anything up to eight guests fits in most SUVs. Groups of 9 or more — give us a call and we'll build a driver-per-vehicle plan around your caravan.
